Double D

Get more acquainted with glamorous fashion model, designer, realtor and self-proclaimed adventure-seeking coffee enthusiast, DARIA DALI…

Extremely hot feature, Daria. We have to ask – when do you feel sexy?
I believe that less is always more. And by less, I don’t mean less clothes. I mean the less you try, the better. There’s no bigger turn on than a sex appeal that is coming from within – one that is effortless. You don’t have to try much – this is something I’ve learned throughout
my modelling carrier. The more relaxed you are, starting with your posture ending with your facial expression, the better. For me, I feel my best when I get out the shower all fresh, with no make-up and my hair wet in a towel.

What is your best asset?
Physically, I believe eyes are the windows of the soul. The beauty and the story that is revealed in the eyes will never fade and will never get old. Otherwise, I appreciate my ability not to take things too seriously. I embrace each day with humour and finding joy in life’s moments.

Give us a little more background about yourself and your life story so far.
I was 12 years old when I moved to Los Angeles, all the way from Moscow. My modelling carrier started as a part-time job, squeezing shoots in between school days – mostly for e-commerce. It wasn’t all that glamorous back then. But in 2018, things took an unexpected turn when a campaign landed me as the cover girl for Viva Glam magazine. From there, the whole modelling journey got a taste of luxury – I walked runways of LA, New York and Miami Fashion Weeks, working with big brands and gracing covers like Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour, just to name a few. And now I got to
work with MAXIM!

And what a classic photo shoot this is.
Thanks! We shot this in a studio in Los Angeles. The black and white definitely adds an artistic, authentic touch to the images. I love how these shots turned out to be revealing, sensual but also aesthetic and artistic.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
Despite my public roles and love for the spotlight, I have a shy and introverted side.

How would you describe yourself in five words?
An adventure-seeking coffee enthusiast.

What would you be doing career-wise if you weren’t modelling?
I’d still be deeply immersed in the world of fashion. In 2021 I started my clothing line, DelToro Collection, that was dedicated to the memory of my best friend, Mercedes Del Toro. I presented two shows as a designer as a part of New York Fashion Week, a dream I never thought possible. So, fashion is a big part of my life, but outside of the fashion realm, I work as a real estate agent in Beverly Hills – I have a love for fashion, architecture and interior design.

What have you learned about men over the years?
I’ve come to understand that a real man isn’t defined by a stereotypical macho image – the tough guy persona. True masculinity encompasses qualities like empathy, vulnerability and the strength to embrace one’s authentic self.

What do you look for in a man?
I’m old school, so I like a man to be a gentleman and maturity is a big must.

What can we get you at the bar?
A skinny margarita, or a glass of red wine on those cozy nights.

Finally, where would you like to be in five years?
Five years from now I hope to see myself at the intersection of success and fulfillment.
