Bellucci Cucina – Australia Square, Sydney

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bellucci Cucina, located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Bellucci’s offers a colourful cosmopolitan bistro vibe amongst the backdrop of high-rises and hotels and, start to finish, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Coupled with the restaurant’s elegant decor and comfortable lighting, it left me feeling relaxed and right at home.

The food at Bellucci Cucina exceeded all expectations. Every dish I had the opportunity to try was carefully crafted with care and bursting with flavour. The menu was incredible and filled with variety. Their Italian classics were a blend of familiar flavours executed to perfection. From the rich and creamy pasta dishes to the tender mouth-watering cuts of meat, every bite left me wanting more.

The presentation of the food was equally impressive, with the chef’s attention to detail and culinary expertise reaching a level seldom-seen, except by that of their serving staff, who were attentive and knowledgeable, making night a memorable experience. They were quick to offer recommendations when asked, answered any questions I had and seemed happy to accommodate special requests. Throughout the meal I felt like my every need was taken care of with little effort or waiting on my part.

Another aspect that stood out was the reasonable pricing. Considering the high quality ingredients, skilful preparation, and the overall experience, the prices at Bellucci Cucina were a bargain. It felt like great value for the level of excellence and service provided.

I was also impressed by the cleanliness and overall hygiene of the restaurant. The dining area, restrooms, and open kitchen were all impeccably maintained, which added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the meal I felt.

In summary, my experience at Bellucci Cucina was nothing short of exceptional. Inspired by the metropolitan venues of Milan and Rome, the combination of delicious food, attentive service, inviting ambiance and reasonable pricing made it a great dining experience. I would highly recommend Bellucci Cucina to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Italian experience. And although I feel like everything on their menu is worth a try, if I had to offer my personal suggestions, I would recommend the Mixed Arancini to start, the Lobster Squid Ink Pasta to follow and you can never go wrong washing it down with a Bellucci Kiss!

Bellucci is open for breakfast, lunch, Aperitivo, dinner, and drinks Monday – Friday, 7am to late.
