Olivia Frazer

The controversial Married At First Sight “villainess” and one of Australia’s top OnlyFans content creators talks reality TV misconceptions, rumours, sex scandals, social media, staying single and much more…

Hello, Olivia, congrats on your MAXIM cover. How do you feel?
Thank you so much! It’s such a “pinch me” moment. MAXIM itself is so legendary and I’m just honoured to have the opportunity to be included.

Well, you look gorgeous. When do you feel sexy and why?
I always feel my sexiest right after I wash my face. There’s something about being clean and natural that makes me feel so confident.

What is your best asset?
Physically, my face. I’ve been very lucky to have always had a pretty face no matter what. Otherwise, my best asset is my honesty.

For those who don’t know a lot about you, give us a brief background about yourself.
When I finished school I moved to the U.K. but after a few years my Dad got sick and I moved home to look after him. After he passed I was a bit lost, then I was given the opportunity to go on a TV show called Married At First Sight (MAFS) to find love. I was very lucky to have found love with Jackson and although we have since split, I still feel like it was a successful relationship. Unfortunately, I was cast as the “villainess” of the show and received a lot of backlash. It has been a really long and difficult road to pick myself back up from it all, but I’ve been very transparent and consistent with how I’ve carried myself since the show. I truly believe the public are now beginning to see the real me. Oh, and I do OnlyFans now and crush it. I reached the top 0.01% of all OnlyFans creators in June 2022.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
That I’m not the character they saw on TV. I’m actually very soft and sensitive.

Yes, you earnt yourself the “villainess” tag on the last season of MAFS after you apparently circulated a nude photo of fellow cast member Domenica Calarco. How did you handle it?
The only way I can handle this tag is by telling the truth over and over again, because the narrative that came out via MAFS is not reality and not my character at all. I’ve always been a massive advocate for female sensuality and would never sex shame, body shame or humiliate another person like that, ever. Ever.

Tell us your side of events of the whole Domenica saga for those who may not be familiar with it.
It’s crazy how it all transpired! To set the record straight, we looked at her public social media accounts that shouldn’t have existed in the first place – according to filming protocol, as we weren’t allowed to have public social media accounts. It was never as illicit as finding something from behind a paywall and circulating it. It was looking at a Twitter page of someone who was causing the cast – not just me! – a lot of grief. I was complaining about the blatant favouritism MAFS production was showing Domenica. Think about it – why wasn’t she removed from set after smashing a glass in a social setting? Why was that edited to be acceptable under any circumstance? We all had thorough social media sweeps, producers knew she had public accounts and left them up as bait for a storyline.

Have you spoken to Domenica since the show finished up?
Yes, we had a private conversation over Instagram DMs. Basically, she wanted me to apologise and take accountability for showing people her Twitter but wasn’t willing to do the same – in regards to the hate party she threw in my “honour”, the glass smashing incident and the many mean things she says about me publicly. I have repeatedly, publicly and privately wished her nothing but the best and will continue to do so.

Is it true you lost a job because of MAFS?
I had to resign from my reception job at a school. The backlash was just far too intense. I also couldn’t go into university or leave the house alone when the show was airing. Jackson used to have to come to the shops with me because I was so scared. I’d love it if teaching was still an option but unfortunately it’s completely off the table. No school would ever hire me with articles that exist associating me with “revenge porn”, which is fake news, and OnlyFans was the final nail in the coffin of my teaching career.

How would you best describe your overall experience on MAFS?
One word: bittersweet. The “villainess” edit was HARD. The backlash was hard. It set fire to my life as I knew it, but I made some of the best friends of my life. I met Jackson, who is so very dear to me, and now I have incredible opportunities I’ve never even dreamed of.

How do you feel about your portrayal on the show?
It was a huge mess to clean up. It definitely showed some character flaws in me – like, what’s with the head shake I do when I’m scared? – and highlighted that I’m not perfect. But I’m definitely not that evil caricature they turned me into.

Is there anything you would’ve done better on the show?
I learned too late in the show to just shut up. I wish I’d done that sooner.

Do you have any regrets?
Of course – talking about Dom’s social media! If I knew what it would be twisted into I would never have gone near that with a 10-foot pole. Not just because of the issues it caused me, but also for the grief it caused her.

What’s your stance on marriage and has it changed since being on MAFS?
I still want to be married! My parents had the most wonderful marriage and of course I’d love this for myself. I’ve never been a wedding type of girl – I’d keep that part pretty rock ’n’ roll and at a registry office. But all my love and effort will go into a marriage when the time is right for me.

What is the biggest misconception about reality TV and, more specifically, MAFS?
That what you see is what actually happened. There were huge discrepancies in everyone’s portrayals, storylines and even time frames!

What advice do you have for anyone wanting to do a show like MAFS?
Run. Run some more. Then keep running.

Would you ever do another reality television show?
I’d think about any opportunity presented to me. Understandably, I’ve been burnt before by reality TV, so it would have to be a sweet deal.

If you were asked to do The Bachelorette, would you do it?
Never say never!

You split with your MAFS husband, Jackson, after he publicly cheated on you last May. What went through your head when you saw the social media footage of him kissing another girl?
That’s actually how I found out about it – through social media! It was honestly the worst thing that could’ve happened. At that point, after MAFS, the only thing I had was my relationship. The “villainess” edit was hell and all I could say was, “Yeah, my life’s really hard but at least I have Jackson”. Then that huge betrayal and public humiliation caused by my partner, on top of what I was already going through, was just simply excruciating. And yet, I knew straight away I wanted to make it work so that at least I didn’t go to hell and back for nothing.

How did you actually get through this shitty period of your life?
I went to Scotland. The U.K. is still my happy place. I needed to be with my friends to regroup. Being amongst nature and history really put things into perspective, too. Like, yeah I’m a reality TV “villainess” and my boyfriend just cheated on me, but at least I’m not being beheaded for treason.

How often do you speak to Jackson now?
We speak quite regularly! There’s a huge amount of love and respect still there. We definitely laugh over things trolls say to us online and we just chat like friends. We don’t really discuss our love lives in great detail, but other than that, nothing is off limits.

You’ve had a couple of relationships with men since your split. Has there ever been more than “just friends” with any of them?
The most recent man I was seeing was so lovely. I really like him a lot and I’d say that was more than “just friends” although any official discussion was never had. Unfortunately, work and timing just made that too tricky.

Why have you made the vow to yourself to stay single until you turn 30 this year?
This sounds nuts, but a psychic told me I will meet the love of my life in six months. So, I’ve decided to roll with this. I don’t necessarily believe it 100 percent, but I think I need the break from serious dating regardless.

Describe your ideal man.
British, cheeky, blue eyes, artistic, hilarious, successful – not for financial reasons but for his own sense of pride – and a family man! I’ve always been a sucker for the class clown.

Describe your ideal date?
Well, I’m a proud NSW Central Coast girl, so I’d probably do something super chill, like sunset drinks at The Haven in Terrigal followed by a low-key dinner in town. Simple and perfect.

What’s one thing men should always remember about women?
We say what we mean. It’s not a coded message.

What have you learned about men over the years?
If they like you, you know. If they don’t like you, you’ll be confused.

You mentioned earlier that you’ve set up an OnlyFans account – what made you want to join this platform?
I honestly joined to see what it was about and how it all worked after MAFS finished airing. I’d never even clicked onto the site and yet it was such a huge part of my narrative on the show. Then people started finding and subscribing to my account so I just decided to go for it just as an “FU” to the people who created and hurt me over the MAFS narrative. It worked out well.

What content can someone expect to see when they subscribe to your OnlyFans?
The page itself is the naughty things that would get my Instagram account shadow banned again. The super naughty things are released in the DMs.

Why do you think your OnlyFans content is so popular?
I’d like to think that it’s because I’m a curvier girl who just embraces it.

What’s the most popular request you get from your subscribers on OnlyFans?
It’s a tie between feet pictures and a sex tape – I haven’t done a sex tape.

What won’t you do for the OnlyFans cameras?
I won’t do anything that I would be mortified by if it was leaked.

You’ve had your fair share of media coverage. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve read about yourself?
Oh, people come up with some wild things. I think the most recent and outrageous one was that my latest fling was “fake” and arranged by a person in the media to save me from looking pathetic. Just so everyone knows – I’d rather look pathetic and live authentically than fake anything ever. My life would be so much easier if I just faked things.

Would you ever date one of your social media followers?
I’m up for anything! Never say never.

What is your New Year’s resolution?
Enjoy being single, be the best dog mum to [French Bulldog] Stella, save for a home and hopefully move back to the U.K..

Finally, what’s the main thing you hope to achieve in 2023?
Happiness. ■
