Kay Meeker

Model, multitasker, student and…belly dancer. Yes, it’s time to get more acquainted with American beauty KAY MEEKER…

Quality photo shoot, Kay, congrats on your first MAXIM Australia feature.
Thank you, I am extremely excited for the opportunity to work with MAXIM Australia. I thought the whole photo shoot was an awesome experience and the entire crew was great to work with – they made me feel like a supermodel.

You look stunning. When do you feel you are at your sexiest?
I live an outdoorsy lifestyle and love incorporating boudoir in the natural environment. Whether on the beach or in the forest, I feel most confident when I am surrounded by beautiful scenery.

What is your best asset?
My best asset would probably be my ability to multitask. I have so many interests and am constantly juggling responsibilities in my busy lifestyle. With modelling, school and all my other hobbies, I must manage my time well to get everything accomplished.

Give us a little more background about yourself and your life story so far.
I was raised in the snowy mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah in the U.S.A. and grew up camping, hiking and fishing, but have always been drawn to the glamourous photos of models in Hollywood. Two years ago I followed the glitz and glamour by moving to Los Angeles and since then I’ve been studying communication in hopes of breaking into the entertainment industry.

What would people be most surprised to know about you?
I believe people would be most surprised to know that I’m actually an experienced belly dancer.

When you’re not posing for MAXIM what can we find you doing?
If I’m not at school, I enjoy spending my time travelling and dining out. My favourite weekend vacation destination is Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Is this the best place you’ve ever travelled to?
So far the best place I have visited has been Vancouver, Canada. The city is lush and green and the poutine is to die for! The city nightlife blew me away with their extraordinary dining offerings and lively nightclubs.

With the pandemic, we’re assuming you haven’t been able to travel for a while. So, what have you been doing?
During the pandemic I’ve spent a lot of time in the kitchen trying new recipes, eating good food and taking evening walks.

What’s the first thing you will do once all travel restrictions are lifted?
I’d be ecstatic to be able to travel internationally again. I have been planning a trip to Spain and can’t wait to experience the culture and enjoy the diverse cuisine.

Have you ever been to Australia?
No, but I have family in Sydney and am planning to visit soon. Also, I’m working on getting scuba certified and hope to visit the Great Barrier Reef to participate with ocean conservation.

Besides the trolls and haters, what do you dislike about social media?
What I don’t like about social media is the fact that people are quick to make assumptions. What you see online is only a glimpse of a person’s life and how they choose to portray themselves on the Internet.

What’s the weirdest thing someone has sent you on your social media platforms?
This random guy photo-shopped himself into a picture of my girlfriend’s and I. He then proceeded to tag all of us on Facebook like we’d forgotten to invite him to the party or something. We weren’t even friends on FB!

What have you learnt about men over the years?
They don’t know where they want to go out for dinner. Haha!

What’s one thing men should always know about women?
Girlfriends are very important to us. My girlfriends know almost everything about me. When a man can get along with my friends, it shows a lot about his character. Plus, a woman’s girlfriends can be a man’s best ally in a relationship.

What do you look for in a man?
Someone who is confident in themselves but who can also be goofy. I am attracted to men who are hardworking and driven to succeed.

How can he win his way to your heart?
I love when a man makes me pancakes in bed. Bonus points for freshly-squeezed OJ.

Describe your ideal date.
My ideal date would be to set up a cozy camping site in the mountains and watch a meteor shower fireside.

Finish this sentence: Public nudity is…
Freeing and empowering in the right environment.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I hope to be happy, graduated and working in the entertainment industry hosting my own talk show.

What’s next for you?
I am currently working on a handful of upcoming projects — one of which is being an artistic take on nature meets boudoir with a very talented team. Stay tuned! ■
