Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’ve played soccer my whole life. Since I was a little girl, I wanted to play soccer for the US team and growing up I wanted to be like [former US women’s soccer team member] Mia Hamm. I ended up going to the University of North Carolina, one of the best colleges in the country and where Mia Hamm went, and then playing professionally for four years. I have an amazing family and my parents are my best friends. My dad was an Olympic wrestler and helped me become the athlete and person I am today.
Describe your Destination MAXIM experience.
It was an amazing chance to have a new experience working with a top magazine and explore an amazing new city. My roommate has now ended up being one of my closest friends, so the trip was a great experience and something I’ll always remember being a part of.
What do you look for in a man?
Mature, smart and a silly personality.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
The little gestures mean the most and hardly ever go unnoticed.
When do you feel sexy?
When I’m working out or at the beach because those are the two things I enjoy and feel most comfortable doing.
Describe your ideal date.
Anything outdoors or movie nights with lots of snacks.
What is your motto in life?
Dogs make everything better.
What’s next for you?
Shooting with a few sports magazines, hoping to one day get into Sports Illustrated, and possibly start playing professional soccer again.
