Luna Lu is situated in the heart of the Rocks in Sydney, Australia where a row of former warehouses have been converted into chic restaurants overlooking Circular Quay, the harbour and the Sydney Opera House.
Offering up revamped Asian classics, it’s easy to see why this restaurant is becoming a fast favourite amongst trendy urban Sydney-siders.
The decor of this suave upmarket eatery is a stunning mix of teal velvet fittings, glossy marble tables, trendy rattan seaters, sandstone walls and elegant gold finishes which ultimately create a moody and intimate vibe.
Food-wise the menu takes inspiration from Chef Lucas’s local Chinese heritage with a modern twist. All ingredients are locally sourced and we tried a bit of everything. Fresh Appellation Oysters to start, spicy Pork Belly Bao and Wild Truffle Mushroom Spring Rolls were just a few favourites. It’s easy to see the passion and global influence Chef Lucas brings to his culinary delights. Luna Lu also offers an impressive wine list where you’ll find all the classics as well as some regional gems. A fine collection of rice wine as well.
Luna Lu is a chic venue in an incredible location and its friendly staff, delightful menu and luxury interior will have you coming back for.
