Hey Jade, tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m half-Italian half-Australian, speak fluent Italian and moved to Italy at 18 to start modelling in Milan, Spain and New York. I was on Italy’s Next Top Model but left the competition because the girls were not healthy – I have always been into my health and fitness and have never agreed with the whole carrot sticks and water diet many models do. I came back to Australia, got back into acting, had a few small gigs then got into Big Brother and came second in the 2013 season.
What have you been up to since?
I have been getting back into my acting again and have had a few bit parts. Plus I’ve always modelled so enjoying doing some more of that again, too.
Congrats on your MAXIM cover shoot. Thanks. I’m pretty excited to be on the cover. Gorgeous women, like Jennifer Hawkins, have been graced the MAXIM cover and it’s a classy men’s magazine so my parents won’t cringe when they see it.
Being your first men’s mag shoot, how did you feel going into the shoot?
When I was asked to shoot for MAXIM I did my research and it’s had some amazing girls on the cover. It’s a lot classier than the other magazines out there and the shoot concept was beautiful, so I was super excited. I’m really happy with the results. The MAXIM team are amazing – make-up, styling, photography – they all made me look good.
You pose in some cool swimwear in this shoot. Ever had a wardrobe malfunction at the beach or a pool party?
I have flashed an entire pool full of people when I attempted to do a dive, badly, into a pool. I couldn’t stop laughing. It was so funny yet embarrassing.
