When do you feel sexy and why, Mattie?
When I buy and wear new pair of shoes. Something about a new pair of shoes brings everything together for me.
What is your best asset?
I would have to say my hair because that’s a woman’s crown. And maybe my smile because it’s contagious — I’m always smiling and laughing so I will have you laughing all of the time!
Give us a little more background about yourself and your life story so far.
I’m a southern girl from a small county in Florida, I was raised in the waters doing a lot of fishing, travelling and exploring the world. Most of my life has inspired me to go above and beyond with everything that I do. I have always been a free spirit, I set a positive vibe to everyone and everywhere I go.
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
There is actually a lot to be surprised about when it comes to me. Every day there is something new that I am trying to do. I surprise myself all the time.
How would you describe yourself in five words?
Soulful, explorer, ambitious, motivated and confident.
What would do if you weren’t modelling?
I have been modelling for a little over two years, but if I wasn’t I would be focusing on the fashion industry. I love putting new styles together.
What have you learnt about men over the years?
There is no magic age where men suddenly become perfect.
What’s one thing men should always know about women?
We all have the same amount of love.
What do you look for in a man?
Someone who you can look at and know he’s your person. You know, like when you play jigsaw puzzles and you’re missing that one special piece and when you find that piece the puzzle is complete? Well, I want that piece to my puzzle that makes life together complete.

Camping out and star gazing.

Beer, please!

What’s your best hidden talent?
I can probably out-fish you.
Do you have any phobias?
I’m deathly afraid of cockroaches.

Elsa Hosk, she is such an angel!
What’s the weirdest thing someone has sent you via social media?
Somebody once asked me to give them public wedgies.
What is your motto in life?
Always wake up and strive to be a better person than you were yesterday.

Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us? Nothing I can share — yet… but stay tuned to my Instagram!
Finally, where would you like to be in five years?
I want to be an inspiration to our upcoming generation because they are our future and the future is so bright. Yes, I have other major goals and dreams that I am striving to achieve, but what I really want is for others to love themselves. Loving yourself is the best thing you could ever do. Don’t compare yourself to anyone because you are a thousand times enough! ■
