Ines Trocchia

The high adventure, luxury villas, quality food and beverages and the Mediterranean climate aren’t the only amazing things Italy has to offer. Italian women are simply in a class of their own. Case in point? Rising model and budding actress INES TROCCHIA…

Tell us a bit about yourself, Ines.
I am 22 years old and come from a small town called Nola in the city of Naples, South Italy.

How did you get your start in modelling?
Well, I’ve loved the fashion world since I was a child and I got my start in modelling thanks to a designer close to my city.

As a model, what have you learnt about the industry?
If you want something you have to work hard for it. Sacrifice is the key to success and on your way you will find people who support you and people who will try to demoralize you. So, be strong and believe in yourself.

What do you love and hate about your job?
I love that everyday you have the possibility to experience something new but the bad part is that nothing is guaranteed in this industry — one day you are top of the world and the next you can go down.

What is your best asset?
The ability to try and always do the best in everything I do. I always give 100 percent of myself, especially in my work and in my relationships.

If you weren’t modelling what would you be doing?
Probably something to do with interior design.

Are you working on any projects right now?
I’m studying acting while working on a TV show about football on Rai Sport, one of main Italian TV channels.

Where did this MAXIM photo shoot take place?
This shoot was done near one of the most beautiful skylines in the centre of Milan and I enjoyed the amazing view and perfect weather.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Barcelona is one of the cities I like the most — the weather is good, the people are friendly, the food is amazing, it has the sea… it’s just different to Milan.

Have you ever been to Australia?
No, but I hope to come soon! It’s one of my big dreams to visit Sydney.
What’s the first thing you think about when you hear the word ‘Australia’?
Kangaroos. Haha…

Of course. OK, besides “G’day” what other Aussie words do you know?
Pash. It means a passionate kiss, right?

Correct. Would you ever kiss a guy on the first date?
You have to do what you feel is right. So, if you feel it, why not?!

What’s the best way for a man to win his way to your heart?
Be brave and sincere and don’t use the usual trivial approach. Men are much better when they take risks. I love a man who knows what he wants, is coherent, tender and who gives importance to his words and actions.

If you took MAXIM on a date, where would we go?
Wakeboarding because I love new experiences and absolutely love feeling the adrenalin rush!

What is your favourite part of a man’s body?
I love big shoulders in a man, but a nice smile and magnetic eyes are also very important.

Well, that counts us out then. What do you like to do in your free time?
I have a big passion for art, so I like visiting exhibitions and art galleries. I also love to travel and visit new places. Sometimes on my own – I like time for myself.

Nice one. If you could spend a day with anyone in the world who would it be?
Elon Musk because… well, he is a genius.

What’s next for you?
Hopefully my acting studies get me a role in a movie! ■
