Since we interviewed Rocky, it’s only fair we also speak to a Kiwi. So, the hopes of the nation, no silverware since 1987 and you’re hosting the bloody thing – stressed much, Dan?
The pressure’s always gonna be there, especially on such a big occasion, but I’ve been around long enough for it not to bother me. I have my own goals, standards and expectations, and they far exceed any public pressure.

What will you be doing differently in 2011 to ensure victory?
I’ve been unsuccessful at a couple of World Cups. The first one in Australia in 2003 was my first year in international rugby, so I was overwhelmed just being there. The disappointment of 2007 was really tough because I worked so hard for three or four years, solely concentrating on the World Cup. I know this time is gonna be very intense, and I’ve tried not to think about it too much. I’m feeling fresh and am ready to go.
